With Tacoma Beer Week #8 around the corner, we figured it was a great time to feature a few of the young talented brewers making waves in Grit City’s beer scene. Luckily, they also happen to be the two brewers teaming up to make the official Tacoma Beer Week beer this year! Amber Machado from E9 Brewing and Shelby Bible from Odd Otter Brewing hung out with the Grit and Grain team this week to talk beer origin stories, recipe development, growing with their respective breweries, and their aloof but undoubtedly bright futures in the world of beer making in Tacoma and abroad. Crack a barleywine (or a beer from either of these brewers!) and join us in getting to know more of the talented folks behind a lot of the local beer we all love!
