The Grit & Grain Podcast hosts two-thirds of the team behind “Rainier – A Beer Odyssey,” the first major, independently produced, comprehensive documentary on the classic Rainier Beer television commercial produced in Seattle, Washington, from 1974 to 1987 and remain cult favorites in the Pacific Northwest almost 50 years later. Co-Executive Producer Justin Peterson and Director/Editor Isaac Olsen will our Episode 16 with production stories of Terry Heckler and Gordon Bowker — the key figures behind the commercials — as well as the actors in the famous ad spots, the wild story of how Tacomans Peterson and Olsen, as well as other Co-Executive Producer Robby Peterson, came up with the idea, how they found the original film, stories about their interviews with the original production team, and the success behind their Kickstarter campaign.
